PUBLIC SPEAKING WITHOUT FAIL, GETS MY NERVOUS SYSTEM'S PANTIES IN A BIG A** WAD.
The fact that we as a species can share thoughts, ideas, and feelings through speech and language will never not blow my mind.
My public speaking journey began in the fourth grade, when I won my school's oratorical speaking contest.
(CWAZY.)
Fast forward a decade and some change ----------- I am very grateful to have been selected as a SCAD Amp Star during my final two years studying at The Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as to have received a SCADamp: Advanced Certificate of Completion.
(See below for an explanation of the programs!)
Public speaking makes me feel extremely nervous in preparation for/within those present moments, but I love doing it.
It always reminds me of the rapture of being alive, that energy is powerful, and of silly humility when I word flub.
